Day 1

The first group decided to make giant letters spelling out “VERMONT” like the famous Hollywood Sign in Los Angeles, CA. They spent the day looking for plywood scraps, cutting out shapes with the jigsaw, screwing pieces together and painting the letters white.
Another group decided to build a giant pig since the sculpture was going to be installed on a farm. They started by framing the rectangular body which would also be a playhouse for kids to go into.
Day 2

The pig team spent the day cutting pieces for the snout of their sculpture.
Day 3
July 1, 2020
Our third and final sculpture for Lareau Farm was this giant 14 ft clown. This group of 3 kids cut out the huge feet, arms and body out of 4 sheets of 1/2” plywood.
