SHELTER

May 5 - June 9, 2023

Design and build your own shelter in the forest. Shelter is a more advanced version of another Sculpture School offering — fort building. In this program we work deeper in the woods and carry-in all of our tools and materials. Students will work in small groups to design and build their own concept of a shelter, whether that be a hut, treehouse, camping platform, or underground bunker (!) This program will provide a balance of instruction around tool safety, project planning, landscaping, and building technique, while maintaining a highly self-directed, student-driven spirit.

Ages: 11-14

Dates: Fridays, May 5, 12, 19, 26, June 2 & 9 (6 Classes)
