Build the plywood car of your dreams in our 8th annual soapbox derby program. This is our longest running tradition with well over 100 cars made and launched down the hill at Knoll Farm. We start by making concept drawings of our ideas and gradually work week-by-week to assemble and sculpt each vision to life. This 7-week program provides demonstrations on concept development, power tool safety, derby car frame assembly, steering mechanics, and sculptural wire forming. Students will share their finished projects at our grand finale Soapbox Derby event on June 24, 2023.
