Make the plywood car of your dreams in our 9th annual soapbox derby program. We start by making concept drawings of our ideas and gradually work week-by-week to assemble and sculpt each vision to life. This 7-week program provides demonstrations on concept development, power tool safety, derby car frame assembly, steering mechanics, and sculptural wire forming. Students will share their finished projects at our grand finale Soapbox Derby event on June 22, 2024.
