Learn MIG welding and furniture fabrication. Metal Inert Gas welding is the most common type of welding used in blacksmithing, automotive shops, and light construction. In this program students will work with welders, grinders, and portable bandsaws to design and fabricate their own piece of custom furniture.
Helmets, gloves, and welding jackets will be provided. Students are asked to wear close-toe shoes (leather recommended), non-frayed jeans, and a long sleeve natural fiber shirt.
