Learn MIG welding and furniture fabrication. Metal Inert Gas welding is the most common type of welding used in blacksmithing, automotive shops, and light construction. Helmets, gloves, and welding jackets will be provided. Students are asked to wear close-toe shoes (leather recommended), non-frayed jeans, and a long sleeve natural fiber shirt.
Beginner Class
For new students with no prior experience. Students will be introduced to welders, grinders, and portable bandsaws through the making of a furniture project
Advanced Class
For returning students looking to further develop their skills and learn new techniques. Students will design and fabricate their own piece of custom furniture.
